    Japanese invasion of Manchuria
    When Manchuria was invaded by the Kwantung Army of the Empire of Japan. They took over Manchuria and the surrounding cities without consent of the empire. Japanese accepted this because all the quick victories it had.
  • Hitler Made Chancellor of Germany

    Hitler Made Chancellor of Germany
    Hitler was appointed to keep himself and the Nazis "in check"; however it would have been a terrible result for Germany and the entire European continent. People turned to the Nazis to keep the communists out.Hitler is one of the main reasons WW2 started.

    When Hitler tried to force the Austrian government to agree to the Anschluss-union with Germany. The Anschluss was popular among the people of Austria. It was another violation of the Treaty of Versallies. It was one of Hitlers first mjor steps of the creation of a Greater German Reich which was to include all ethnic German and all the land and territories the German empire lost in WW1.

    Kristallnacht
    A series of coordinated attacks against the Jewish led by Nazi Germany and parts of Austira. Jews were taken from their homes and placed in voncentration camps. People demolished Jewish homes, hospitals and schools with sledge hammers. This is important because this is one of the things people mainly think about when they think of WW2. This was one of the many terrible acts of hitler.

    A war between the Allies and Germany. The battle of Dunkirk was the defense and evacuation of the British and Allied forces in Europe. THis was important because it helped evacuate about 500,000 allied soilders who would otherwise have become Prisoners of war.

    A suprise military strike conducted by the Japanese Navy against the United States Naval base in Hawaii. The attack was inteded to prevent the U.S. Pacific Fleet from interfering with military actions the empire of Japan was planning. This attack led to the United State's entry into World War Two.

    Forced march of American and Filipino prisoners of war captured by the Japanese in the Philippines during WW2. The Japanese were not prepared for how many prisoners they were to recieve so they had no plan on what to do. Japanese didnt know what to do with all of the prisoners so they told them to march to Balanga, capital of Bataan.

    One of the mopst important naval battles of WW2. The U.S. Navy attack on Midway Atoll, inflicted inrepairable damage on the Japanese fleet. The turning point; when the U.S. starts to win. We have more factories and we were able to replace things must faster unlike our competitors.

    Fought on the beaches of France. The u.s. vame in on ships to nazi germany waiting for them. More than 5,000 ships and 13,000 aircraft supporters the D-Day invasion. D-day was important because prior to D-DAy russians felt they were the onoly ones at war. D-day put Russians fears to rest by opening a second front and eventually aiding the Allies in stopping the spread of communism in Europe.

    A conference between the three heads of Britain, United states and the Soviet Union. THis was very controversial. They met to discuss the re-organization and reconstruction of Europe after the war.

    Victory in europe day. It was this day when the WW@ allies formally accepted the unconditional surremnder of the armed forces of Nazi Germany. This also was the end of Adolf Hitlers third Reich, thus ending war in europe. THis is important because it ended the European part of the war.

    Atomic bombing of the cities Hiroshima and Nagashler in Japan conducted by the U.S. during the final stage of WW2. The two events are the onle use of nuclear weapons in war to date. This led to Japan surrenduring to the Allies.
