  • Hitler Claims Emergency Powers

    Hitler claimed emergency powers form president Von Hindenburg.

  • Boycott of Jewish Business

    Under Hitler's rule, all Jewish business were boycotted from use. This was just the beginning of the long line of hatred against the Jewish people.

    German forced sterilization for people with mental or physical disabilities.

    Allowed courts to imprison people who have committed habitual crimes.

    Required jews to wear a Star of David on them.

    German Jew escapees tried to flee from persecution. The ship was not allowed to dock and was sent back.

    This took place in Ukraine in Babi Yar. Around 33,000 Jewish people lost there lives to German forces. This was one of the largest massacres of the war.
