  • Munich Olympics Massacre

    Munich Olympics Massacre
    In Munich, Germany, a terrorist group called Black September took 11 memebers of the Israeli team hostage in hopes of the return of 234 prisoners of war. When police tried to chase after the helicopter, the terrorists shot the hostages and themselves, killing a
    German police officer as well. Though three terrorists survived and taken into custody, they were later released in exchange for Israeli prisoners.

    London England was hit hard when a terrorist group dubbed the Provisonal IRA bombed a department store. This attack resulted in six dead and 50+ ingjured. The organization claimed it was an unauthorized attack, but many speculate that it was in hopes of getting the government to cave and retreat from the war in Northern Ireland.
  • Air India Flight 182

    Air India Flight 182
    On an Irish airplane, the group Babbar Khalsa detonated a bomb on an airplane that was 31,000 meters in the air. The attack killed 392 people, which made it one of the deadliest airplane attacks ever. No real reason was given, but it is believed that is was an act of revenge towards the government for flushing out members of their group.

    Sarin Subway Attack
    A cult in Tokoyo Japan released a 3 gas attacks within an hour. The cult wanted to take down Japan's government and run it themselves, leaving 12 riders dead, 50+ injured, and over 1,000 with temporary and some cases permanent vision problems. After the attack, the cult lost it's status as a religious group, though nothing could heal the hole they left.
  • Belsan School Siege

    Belsan School Siege
    A school in Belsan Russia was under attack for 3 days. Islamic terrorist group, mainly Ingush and Chechan organized the attack, saying that it was to advocate for their independance. On the third day, the building was stormed but 330 hostages were killed, totaling the death count to 385, many of which were children, and many reported injured or missing.
  • Kunming Mass Stabbing

    Kunming Mass Stabbing
    In China's Yunnan provance, in the city of Kunming, 6 men and 8 women were stabbed by the Xinjiang gang in response to police suppression during a protest for a shut down for a moque. Xinjiang was made of many minorities and 4 of their members were killed on scene while 3 others were sentenced to life in prison.

    Ankara Bombings
    Ankara, Turkey struggled to find someone to blame after 2 bombs were set off a peaceful march for Kurds' working rights. The attack killed 103 civilians. It was suspected that the attack was done by the ISIL in hopes of disrupting the election. Nine were sentanced to life in prison and this has been Turkey's deadliest attack yet.

    Paris Bombings
    130 victims died when three bombs were set off in Paris, France and chaos rose. Three suicide bombs, mass shootings at cafes, resturants, and a music venue, all in retailiation from European citizens who fought in Syria for French airstrikes. 7 attackers died including the suicide bombing near the Stade de France.

    Orlando Nightclub Shooting
    In Orlando, Florida, Omar Mantez shot up a gay nightclub, killing 49 men. Mantez swore lotalty to the leader of Iraq and claimed it was in retaliation of the US killing Aba Waheeb, yet no links were found. Since then, it has been considered the deadliest attack on the LGBT+ community ever.
  • Saudi Arabia Bombing

    Saudi Arabia Bombing
    Four attacks were made in Saudi Arabia in Quatif, Medina, and Jeddah. Four bombs were set to go off, sent by ISIS, and three out of the four succeeded wtith casualities. The first set off in a parking lot, killing four people. The second and third went of in a mosque, this happened to be the first terrorist attack in Medina. The last went off near a US consulate where police tried to arrest the bomber, resulting in two officers dead.
  • Nice Attack

    On Bastille Day, a driver of a cargo truck ran into a crowd of celebrating people in the streets of Nice, France. 86 citizens were killed as well as the driver who was shot. It was suspected this was from a jihadist terrorist group and five people were orginally taken into custody, later followed by two more in September.

    Istanbul Nightclub Shooting
    On New Years Day, Abdulgardir Masharipor shot up a nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey. 39 nightclubbers were killed and the shooter escaped. 17 days later, the man was arrested.
  • London Bridge Attack

    London Bridge Attack
    8 people in total were killed when 3 ISIS terrorists, Khuram Shahzad Butt, Youssef Zaghba, and Rachid Redouane drove a van into London and stabbed 5 others. The victims were picked at random and the terrorists were shot within minutes. 48 others were injured and the following day, ISIS claimed responsibility.
  • New York Attack

    New York Attack
    Sayfullo Saipov was an immigrant who commited the worst act of terror in New York since 911. He drove a rented vehicle into cyclists and pedestrians before hitting a school bus. Eight people were killed, 12 were injured, and the terrorist was shot. The man appeared in court in and didn't plea, but did say that the Islamic State was his inspiration.
  • Sweida Assault

    Sweida Assault
    One of the deadliest attacks in the Syrian civil war was in the Islamic State where soldiers stormed and raided villages, shoot, stabbing, and setting off bombs. The area was mostly the minority group of Duze who had a different belief system then the government. 240+ people died in the raids and at least 56 jihadists died.
