Fighting At Lexington and Concord
The New England Towns were piling up on gunpowder and firearms. In spring of 1775 General Thomas Gage sent troops to march to Boston to seize illegal weapons. April 19, 1775 when the minuteman arrived the British told them to put their guns down and go back the minuteman refused to put their guns down and the British shot. 8 minutemen were killed the others were injured. On July 8, 1775 Congress called the Olive Branch. -
