    The Day My Sister Was Born
    I felt extreme resentment towards my sister for being born. I struggled with separation anxiety when my mom had to leave for the hospital. Eventually I got over it.
  • I moved from Glenside to Upper Dublin.

    I moved from Glenside to Upper Dublin.
    When I was five years old I moved from Glenside to Upper Dublin and I remember being very excited. I don't remember being too sad about the move because I had a lot of family who lived in Upper Dublin as well as my best friend and her family.
  • I went to Scotland

    I went to Scotland
    I went to Scotland when I was eleven years old and I was so happy that I was able to go. I used to be a Scottish dancer and we went with my dance school and competed across the country and had many adventures. It was one of the greatest opportunities of my life.
  • The first time I ate a steak all by myself

    The first time I ate a steak all by myself
    When I was younger, my parents went out to dinner so my uncle came over to watch us. He made us steak for the dinner and I ate one all by myself. I was extremely proud of myself.
  • My First Concert

    My First Concert
    My mom and my uncle bought tickets for my dad and I to go see Imagine Dragons in concert at the Wells Fargo Center for his birthday. It was the first concert I had ever been to and it was also one of my favorite bands. My love for music had grown since 8th grade and I was very excited to be there with my dad.
  • I was voted captain for the XC team of 2019

    I was voted captain for the XC team of 2019
    I found out that my friend and I would be co-captains for the Cross Country 2019 season. I felt honored, excited, and also very nervous.
  • Driver's License

    Driver's License
    I was very nervous and excited to get my license but when I got it I felt very relieved that I could finally drive on my own.
  • I went to the city with friends by ourselves

    I went to the city with friends by ourselves
    My parents agreed to let my friends and I go into Philly for the day by ourselves and it was one of the first times I experienced true independence. I remember being surprised that they agreed and excited to see what it would be like.
