The monarchy had ruled for hundreds of years -
First riot
A group of disgruntled citizens starts a violent riot outside of the palace. It goes on for 5 days. -
Harsh laws are put in place
After the first riot, the monarch puts in place harsher laws limiting what the citizens can and cannot do. Tensions continue to rise -
Second riot
The second riot for more violent. This time guards are killed and the riot only grows. The people demand a reform of the government. Tensions continue to rise. -
The kingdom crumbles
The king steps down. The next person in line doesn't take the position of a royal and instead hands control over to a council. This leaves the government open to change. -
Beginning of the parliamentary system
The council becomes the final decision on matters. They take control of the law creation process. A decision is made that they will need someone who stands above them with more power. -
The first prime minister steps in
The first prime minister is put into office. They now act as the final decision on matters, kind of like the president. -
Beginning of the doctrine
The council and prime minister begin writing up a document that will assist them as they move forward with the government.
