this battle was the first of the revolutionary war, which lasted 15 mins. that day Paul Revere, William Dawes, and Samuel Prescott went out to tell everyone that 7000 British troops were coming for Concord.the redcoats got to lexington five miles off concord, they saw 70 minutemen lined up and the british commander told the minutemen to lay down their arms and leave. but someone shot a shot and british sent a volley of shots which kills 8 minutemen and wounded 10 -

the british went to concord, and found an empty arsenal. andthe marched back to boston which turned into a slaughter. Going against 3 to 4 thousands minutemen and shot the marching troops. the british were blooded and humiliated. -

the british went to attack the militiamen on breed hill, and sent 2,400 soldiers. the colonist didn't do anything until the last minute and attacked the redcoats. colonist lost 450 mne, while the british had 1000 casualties. -
