Auguste Comte's key event in history
In 1826, Auguste Comte wrote his major piece, the "Course of Positive Philosophy", which contained six volumes and is focused on society and the laws that pertain to it compared to the natural spectrum. The Law that came from this piece bases itself off of three different stages: the theological, the metaphysical, and the positive. Each being a necessary part of life. The first is the search and creator, then more rational thought about creation, ending with the strict law that governs reality. -

Contribution to science part 1
Comte is recognized as having the influence of developing Positivism. Stating, "He saw the scientific method as replacing metaphysics and theology." Summarizing, he believed that both the abstract side and religious side of the world should be replaced with a "hierarchy of sciences." Along with this, Comte developed his theory of a universal law, base-lining that change was inevitable and could not be reversed. Following this, Comte is credited with the creation of what is now, "Sociology." -
