    In 1959. the very first version of COBOL, created by Grace Hopper, who was a mathematician, United States Navy rear admiral and computer scientist. COBOL is recognized as being an early programing languages that is designed for finance and business.

    In 1968, the GUI was amongst many innovations that Engelbart and his team were developed and debuted that became key details of computing as we know it today. Those inventions are what are now called "the mother of all demos."
