    Steam engine
    Basicly the steam engine was a heat engine that performs work by using steam as a energy source. In other terms steam was our gas. Now debatibly the first steam engine was made by Thomas Savery, but i view the first real productive steam engine was a remodel of the first steam engine. This was a huge tune up from the first edition. This made it mutch more productive and helped advance the countries trade. This was the main key form of mass transportaion and led to railways.

    It started by the common people starving while the nobels are eating luxury. This frustraion by the people led to storming the baistle, which resulted in the reign of terror. That left30,000 arrested and 17,000 killed. This event left a lasting impression on napoleon and how he made religious tolerance,equality before the law, and abolishes fedulism

    This is when slaves in Haiti rebelled and succeded. Jose de san Martin played a key role in abolishing slavery at the time. Slaves across the globe got word of this and slave owener's became fearfull of a rebellion, because of the slaves inspiration by jose de san martin and that is why it is important in history.

    The common Mexican person was fed up and frusturated by the outrageous Spanish colonial authorities.This uprising became know as the Mexican War of Independence. It was led by Mexican-born Spaniards, Mestizos and Amerindians who wanted independence from Spain. Mexico went to war with spain and gained their independence and that is why it is important in history.

    The whole goal of this congress was to create a balance of power that would help maintain peice in Europe. There were gatherings of people from all over Europe, but the main ones were the four major powers of Europe ;Austria, Russia, Prussia, and Great Britain. It was up to them to help out and make the most cuthroat and important decisions. This was important in history because it had a lasting effect on Eurpe and how they stayed composed and in most importants, peacefull.

    At this time china was restricting british india trade of opium.Opium was smuggled by merchants from British India into China even though they knew it was against the law. Opium warfare between Britain and China broke out . Later, fights broke out on resolving the trade of opium on china's ports, this resulted into the second Opium War. This is important in history because China was beaten in both wars leaving its government having to alow the trade of Opium. Britin forced laws for opium ports.

    This was a short book written by the German Marxist political theorists Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. in the year 1848 it would have been the world's most influential political manuscripts. allowed by the Communist League, it laid out the League's purposes and guidlines. This had an effect on the people on how to behave and act and was extreamly influenciall. That is why it is extreameally important part of history.

    Matthew Calbraith Perry
    The reason Perry went to Japan was to follow diffrent wants that the United States had pertaining to Japan. First, Japan would make a good "coaling base" second was to make sure shipwrecked sailors were treated well and third was for trade reasons. Perry lead diffrent trips to Japan and after much work Japan agreed to the the wishes making this a sucsefull expedition which was called treaty of Kanagawa. Historically is importnat because it brought in a lot of money into Japan and recognition.

    The sepoys,indian born but then raised to fight alongside the british. Heard rumors that the cartridges for their rifles were greased with lard and beef fat. Since the cow is sacred to Hindus, and the pig is opposed by the Muslims, all the sepoys were outraged, and they revolted in an organized fashonand the sepoys even took over the cities of Delhi and Kanpur. This is important in history because it tought people all across the globe to fight for what they belive in.

The main factor of this decion was after the French surrendured to him in the Franco-Prussian War. Basically this is a larg event that witheld war and mainly germany became a independent country and a superpower. This was important in history because germany now was self suffencient by creating railways. it also led to the war with franc

    Portugal, and German chancellor Otto von Bismark wanted to call together the major western powers of the world totalk about what they are going to do with africa. Basicly what they came up with is spliting africa into 50 smaller states. This was important in history because it blended cultures and ideas with one state to another. It also showed the controll that portugal, and Germany had.

    Dr. Sun Yat Sen Takes Over China
    Dr. S-Y-S was very importnat to China because he worked to create a democratic and nationlistic practice ("rule by the people") and change contrasting ideas of the people in power. He used the "four powers of the people" to explain his goals to others. Diffrent ideas that DR. S-Y-S had were later recognized and therefore historically his ideas changed China's system and goverment.

    It was the growing rival of the Russian Empire and Japanese Empire over Manchuria and Korea. Basically no matter how many times russia tried the japanese empire held Manchuria and Korea and making asia much more important. The importance of this in history was it suplied East Asia with a new sence of power, The russian people angry from the constant defeat had the Tsarist government to blame, and would lead to the Russian Revolution of 1905.

    also know as the Bambatha uprising, because Bambatha KaManicinza led the zulu people in a revolt against british rule and taxation. The effect on history was it showed that british is extreamly powerfull and they would stop at nothing not even causualties to get money and become more self sufficent.
