Important Events in My Life
-
I Joined Girl Scouts
In Kindergarten, my mother thought it would be a good idea if I joined GirlScouts to try to express myself more. Despite the initial reasoning for joining; I soon learned to love the group. In fact, I was in GirlScouts until 5th grade. -
Started Band
At Hyde Elementray, in 6th grade, my future band teacher had an array of instruments that we could try out for band. I wanted to play the trumpet or flute, but instead I liked the ALto Saxophone more. I've been in band ever since. -
Started Benton
For my freshmen year of school I went to Benton. I took part in FFA, JROTC, and Band. I switched schools on March 24th 2014. -
Moving to Dekalb
On March 24th, 2014 I moved to Dekalb Mo. A small town of only 200 people. It wasn't a surprise to me, becuase my family moved there to help take care of my grandpa who was diagnosed with stage 3 Small Cell Lung Cancer.
He passed away on May 6th 2014.
My family remained in Dekalb for another two years. I participated in several events;including two plays, the academic team, softball, and student council. -
Driver's License
I didn't take my Driver's test until I was 16 and a half.
I actually took the test in Savannah, because my dad knew that their test would be easier than St. Joseph's. -
Going to State for Academic Team
For the first time ever, Dekalb's academic team qualified at state. It was mainly because of my senior (now freshmen in college) friend, Danille Bailey.
Upon entering state we chose to take the "Tournament Strategy", and we chose wisely because we went up against the two top teams in the first few games. -
Going to State for Softball
My softball team also made it to state. Mainly because of Hailey Donaldson, who had pitched 500 strikeouts in her career, and ran about 30 homeruns this season.
We went to Springfield Mo and was 1 point away from getting first in state. It was a really emotinal end to our fantastic season of playing. -
Moving to Savannah
It was a surprise when my parents announced that we were moving to Savannah. I was in favor of the move; for finacial reasons, whereas my siblings weren't so thrilled.
We moved around Feb. 20th, but transferred schools on the 29th -
Prom
I went to Prom with Shawna Polsgrove and Kolton Blanchard. It was a fun experience, one that I would repeat again if I had the chance. -
Buy my own Apartment
I hope by now that I will have enough financially saved to buy my own house. As long as it has enough space to support myself, I'll be fine. -
Graduate College for Nursing
By this time in my life I anticipate that I'll be done with my studies and ready to start my career. -
Get Engaged/ Married later
Once I have my life on track, I hope that I'll be able to find someone, if I haven't already, that I'm willing to spend the rest of my life with.
Plus getting engaged on my brithday would be pretty cool. -
Travel The World
Before I start my life, I want to be able to spend time with my significant other and travel to different parts of the world. -
Have a baby
I want to start a life with my signifcant other, and raise a family with them.
