The treaty of Versailles is a peace treaty created to end world war 1. The treaty explained the restrictions put on Germany for being responsible for the war. This potentially led to an economic and political crisis, which caused the rise of Hitler. The significance was that it was partially responsible for WWII and Germany's downfall. -

Mussolini was an Italian nationalist that created fascism. He ruled from 1922-1925. He led a group of fascist leaders to Rome, forcing the king to yield government. He was appointed prime minister, but completely dismantled the democratic government. He claimed himself as the self appointed dictator. This was significant, because Mussolini pioneered a lot of the tactics for absolute dictatorship and was a huge inspiration for Hitler. -

The Mein Kampf was a book Hitler wrote while in prison. In the book he talked about his time as a soldier in WW1, his ideology, his large amount of hate for jews, and his youth as well. In the book he explained how we deserve to have extreme rights over Germany, and how angry he was over the treaty of Versailles. The Mein Kampf is significant to WWI because it hinted the main components for Hitlers ambition to start WWII and the holocaust. -

Hitler becoming chancellor was his first step at obtaining all power. He used chancellor as his first move to president. Many thing this was the cause of WW2 and the Holocaust. -

Japan originally invaded for materials to grow their factories, and industries but caused such tension and fury between many. Their invasion caused 20 million people to die and make the war even bigger. -

Feel disgusted even writing this. Over the time period of Japans invasion they went on to rape over 20,000 women and children. They not only raped the citizens but left their homes in pieces and brutally murdered the others. -

Mussolini and Hitler formed an alliances together which formed the Pact of Steele. This allowed both Italy and Germany aid to one another during the war. -

Germany invading Poland was the start of WW2. Hitler wanted this space to allow the Germans to lived there and viewed Polish people as nothing. This was Hitler going to the extreme to get power and breaking the Treaty. -
