    James Clerk Maxwell argued that by mixing 3 colors, you could get any color. In this way, he decided to photograph the same object three times: with red, green and blue light. By combining the results, he obtained the first color photograph which he titled "Tartan Ribbon".

    G. Eastman Kodak invented the KODAK CAMERA. This one used a roll of film and then circular reels of 100 photographs.

    Walter Zipp (RIga) invented the first miniature camera. Due to its simple use it was a commercial success. During World War II it was used as a spy camera and very suitable for photographing documents, since its minimum focus distance was 20 mm.
