The Winter of 1777-1778 was one of the coldest and worst winters the war people have experienced, the cold winter caused the delay of supplies because of the muddy and inaccessible roads but they were still trying to keep fighting against the British. -

The army that was on the Valley Forged contained around 12,000 soldiers and around 400 children and woman, this included people such as John Armstrong, Aaron Burr, and John Cochran. -
What was the Outcome?
The outcome of this war lead to Continental Army officers to evacuate the supplies that were at Valley Forge and that led to British soldiers capturing the supplies and destroying and burning down buildings and forges. -

The battle at Valley Forge was important because this led to other army officers reshaping their force and this also led to the Continetial Army to defeat the British and winning the American Independence
