    The Declaration of Indepedence adopted on July 4,1776 and was signed on August 2,1776. The Delceration of Indepedence was written mostly by Thomas Jefferson and the others were Benjamin Franklin, Jhon Adams, Roger Sherman and Robert R. Livingston
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Battle of Bunker Hill
    The Battle of Bunker Hill was fought on June 17,1775 during the siege of boston in the first stage of the American Revolutionary war. The war was Fought in Charlestown, Massuchesets and the British won the war. The war ended in the same day, the army was being led by Gen. William Howe.

    In order to keep the colonist effort in the American Revolution from falling completly the battle of Trenton began in December 26,1776 and ended in January 3,1777. The Battle Of Trenton took place in Trenton, New Jersey, General George Washington was leading his army to fight against Hessains Mercenaries, George Washingstons army won and captured 900 Hessains . Wining this war was Important to George Washington because he hoped to win so more men would join the army and defend their country.

    The Battle of Philadelphia began on September 3 1777 and ended in September 26,1777. Led by General William Howe he and his British army won, the battle was fought to design to gain control of Philadelphia and the British won.
  • The Winter at Valley Forge

    The Winter at Valley Forge
    The Winter at Valley Forge was when there was a lack of shelter, balnkets, winter coats, and even shoes and it was when it was snowing and they didint have anything. This started in December 19, 1777, to June 19, 1778. George Washington lead his army and people to make sure they were safe, neary 2000 people died during the Winter at valley Forge due to being cold and not having enough supplies tp keep warm from the harsh weather.
