Yahoo! Inc. was founded by Jerry Yang and David Filo in January 1994 and was incorporated on March 1, 1995. It is one of the biggest search engines, and i used it a lot when i was younger. -
Hotmail
Hotmail is a free e-mail service that even I use today. It was founded by Sabeer Bhatia and Jack Smith and launched in July 1996. -
Google is Released
Google, origionally called BackRub, is one of many and one of the top search engines on the internet today. The creators of Google attended Stanford University. -
Moodle
Moodle is a Coarse Manegment System. It was developed by Martin Dougiamas. I use it for school a lot and it is really helpful for online assignments for my classes. -
Myspace
Its a social networking service. From 2005 until 2008, it was the most visited social networking site on earth. -
Facebook Launched
Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg. It was originated only for Harvard students but then grew and expanded to other colleges. Eventaully is was used by people all over the world. -
YouTube Created
YouTube was created by 3 former PayPal employees of 2005 in February. The website is used for uploading, sharing, and viewing videos from the public. -
YouTube Sold to Google
Google had bought YouTube for 1.65 billion dollars. Before it was sold, the company declared that the website was making them 15 million dollars a month. -
Release of Google Chrome
It's a free web browser and I use it at home all the time when I go on the internet. It is the most widely used web browser. -
