Broken Arm
Growing up, my family ran a corn maze and I was always trying to find my own entertainment. One day I was running in my boots that were too big for my feet and tripped over my laces into a rock which caused me to break my arm. -
Middle School Cheer Captain
I was appointed cheer captain for my eighth grade cheer season which meant I was over the middle school squad. I was appointed my seventh grade year while trying out for the squad. -
Bought First Vehicle
My first vehicle was a 1998 Chevrolet S10 named Black Betty. I bought it with money I had saved through selling pigs in 4H -
Competed in The Miss Riverdays Pageant
I was selected to represent my school as Miss West in The Miss Riverdays Pageant. I won Overall Best Float, The Fitness Award and Scholarship, The Community Service Award and Scholarship, People's Choice, and made it into the top 5. -
Graduated High School
I graduated from Portsmouth West High School with Honors. I would then further my education to become a teacher at Shawnee State University. -
Crowned Scioto County Fair Queen
My last year in 4H I decided to run for fair queen and was successful. As the Scioto County Fair Queen, I traveled across Ohio and visited many fairs and festivals. I also competed in The Ohio Fair Queen Pageant against 80 other fair queens and got in the top 15. -
Began Phonics Course at Shawnee State Univeristy
The Phonics course is the first online course I have had the chance to be enrolled in at Shawnee State University. I plan to learn how to make learning phonics as effective as possible for my students. I will take advantage of the field experience to help me grow as an educator and use the online course as an opportunity to better my technology skills.
