  • Ada Lovelace - The creator of coding

Ada Lovelace - The creator of coding
The first computer programming language was invented when Ada Lovelace worked with Charles Babbage and his early mechanical computer, the analytical engine. Ada saw that the computer had a lot of potential and that it could do a lot more than just counting amount of things. She developed an algorithm for the analytical engine that was the first of its kind. Therefore, Ada is credited with creating the first computer programming language.
  • The Telephone

    The Telephone
The first ever working telephone was invented in 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell and by the assistance of Elisha Gray. Before this it was impossible to communicate by voice across a distance so therefore, this is one of most revolutionary inventions ever. The telephone is the result of many people's work and testing, though Alexander Graham Bell is the one who has gotten the most credit
for this invention. This is mainly because he was the first one to patent the telephone
  • John von Neuman - Inventor of the merge sort algorithm

John von Neuman - Inventor of the merge sort algorithm
John Von Neumann was a famous mathematician that lived between 1903-1957, he was born in Hungary but moved to the United States in 1930. He was seen as the inventor of the "Merge short algorithm" in 1945. This algorithm for stimulating a fair coin with a biased coin is used in a stage called "software whitening" which exists in different hardware random number generators.
  • Eniac

    Eniac
Eniac, which stands for "Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer", was the first programmable general-purpose electronic digital computer. It was built during the World War II by USA. There was a group of people who led a government-founded project, the goal of this project was to build an all electric computer. The Eniac got its instructions by reading from a card reader. A disadvantage with this prototype was that it took days to rewire the machine for it to solve a different problem.
  • First computer mouse

    First computer mouse
The development of the mouse began in the early 1960s by Douglas Engelbart, later the first prototype was created by Bill English in 1964. The computer mouse changed the way us humans interact with computers. The first computer mouse wasn't very developed, it was called the "X-Y position indicator for display system" since it could only move from side to side or forward/backwards. The name of this invention later changed, it was changed to "mouse" because the cord stuck out.
  • Bill gates - creator of Microsoft

Bill gates - creator of Microsoft
Bill gates, also known as one of the richest man in the world, is the creator of the world's largest personal-computer software company "Microsoft". Bill Gates and Paul Allen started Microsoft for microprocessors and software in order to produce software for an early personal computer. Paul Allen left Microsoft in 1983 and since then Microsoft has just grown bigger and bigger.
  • The Internet

    The Internet
Vint Cerf's protocol transformed the internet into a world wide network. During the 1980s, researchers and scientists used it to send files and data from one computer to another. In 1991 a computer programmer named Tim Berners-Lee introduced the world wide web, an internet that was actually used as a web of information that anyone on the internet could retrieve instead of using it as a way of sending files.
  • Jeff Bezos - Founder of Amazon

Jeff Bezos - Founder of Amazon
Amazon was founded on the 5th July in 1994 by Jeff Bezos.
In July 1995, the company began service as an online bookstore. Later Amazon expanded and started to sell electronics, soft ware, video games and other things. Amazon became a key factor in the development of online shopping. Currently it is one of the worlds largest online shopping sites and in 2015 it surpassed Walmart as the most valuable retailer in the United States.
