On September 4, 1994 Tiger Woods was able to win the 1994 U.S. Amateur. Tiger was down six strokes, chasing Trip Kuehne, going into the final 36 holes. Tiger was able to make several birdies during the remaining holes and take the lead over Trip Kuehne. He took some aggressive shots to pull off the win, going "pin hunting" even when water was only a few feet away ("The Comeback Kid"). Tiger really showed that he was determined to win his first U.S. Amateur. He was down by a lot and chose to not

The charity aims to bring golf to young kids and give them a good education as well (“About the Foundation”). The photo shows Tiger at a press conference about the charity with his father. He is seen talking most likely about the charity (Specker, Francis). The photo really shows two important things to Tiger, the charity and his dad. It’s inspiring to see that Tiger understands

    Tiger Signs with Nike
Shortly after his 21st birthday Tiger Woods got an endorsement deal with Nike making him over 100 million dollars (“Who Sponsors Tiger Woods?”). The photo shows Tiger smiling after another great round of golf while wearing one of Nike’s blue polo shirts (Dietsch, Kevin). The photo really shows that even after making a lot of money Tiger is still grateful to his fans as he takes off his hat in respect to them. It shows that he doesn’t think money makes him above anyone which shows good character.
  • Tiger Wins Masters

    Tiger Wins Masters

His final score was 15 below par (Stay Tuned (TV’s Unforgettable Moments)). It really shows what an amazing and determined athlete Tiger Woods is. He doesn’t give up when he’s down, but takes it as a challenge to only play so much better. His historic win is just one of the many examples of his amazing career,

On August 23, 2010 the divorce between Tiger and his wife, Elin, was finalized. Tiger had admitted to cheating earlier in 2010 and the two tried to remedy the situation. Tiger and Elin were unable to do so. The divorce dramatically affected Tiger’s golf game as his game began to decline as the divorce went on (Fields, Bill). Tiger’s wife Elin received a 750 million dollar settlement in the divorce in exchange for not speaking to the media or writing any books about her life with
