Mr. Ernest Hemingway was born
Ernest Hemingway was born on July 21st, 1899 in Oak Park Illinois. He was the first son, but second child to Clarence Edmonds Hemingway and Grace Hall-Hemingway. -
Hemingway responded to a Red Cross recruitment effort in Kansas City and signed on to be an ambulence driver in Italy during WWI, and drove them for two months until he was injured.

With his wife Hadley, Hemingway first visited the Festival Lof San Femin in Pamplone, spain where he became fascinated by bullfighting.
