Nicholas graduated high school, with a 4.0 GPA, as his class Valedictorian. He set his sights high and studied hard, but his true passion was running Track & Field.

Nicholas was extatic when University Notre Dame allowed him to enroll with a full ride scholarship for Track.

Dana, Nicholas's younger sister was diagnosed with an egg sized lump of brain tumor. They were able to fight it with medications and treaments. They inched forward through this day by day aknowing it would be unlikely for her to come out alive.

Dana was diagnosed with a brain tumor three years earlier. She stayed strong through almost every second of it. She was also blessed that she concieved and gave birth to a set of healthy twin boys. One year later she passed.
