After visiting Europe during World War 2 Kuhn decided to travel back home to the states and go back to Harvard to finish his degree in physics in 1946. A year later he decided to teach a class at Harvard about the History of Science. Kuhn was amused by the philosophy of science behind Aristotle's idea of motion and decided to study it focusing on Newtons perspective of motion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCQLVF_pEI0

    Kuhn's Breakthrough
Kuhn posted his new idea of paradigm shift in a book called "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions" in 1962. To define paradigm shift Kuhn would describe it as the change of framework from a theory. Scientists can then build up another idea from the paradigm shift and use that for their own studies. Kuhn had a major impact on the science community and sadly passed from throat and lung cancer June 17, 1962.
