In 1949, Kuhn eared his Ph.D in History of Science . Shortly after this he began to teach both History and Philosophy of Science at Harvard between 1951-1956, University of California at Berkeley 1956-64, Princeton University 1964-79, and finally MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology 1979-1991 when he retired.
