The Structure of Scientific Revolutions
Kuhn's book that would revolutionize science is published. In this book Kuhn explains science in a 4 phase cycle. Phase 1 is normal small everyday advances. Phase 2 is when the current "paradigm" (the foundation leading science forward) leads to unresolved issues and scientist considering changing "paradigms" for advance. Phase 3 is when new "paradigms" surface. Phase 4, better know as the "Paradigm Shift" is when a new idea replaces the old. -
