The Structure of Scientific Revolutions was published in 1962. It showcased his thoughts on how the scientific progress was viewed the development-by-accumulation. He also describes the process of how science develops during the normal science phase, with acceptance of anomalies once these anomalies are substantial the Crisis Phase. Eventual there would be a paradigm shift in the overall way of thinking and a "revolution" would happen.
