The Structure of Scientific Revolutions
The Structure of Scientific Revolutions was published January 1 1962. Kuhn believed that scientific theory was non-linear. His book regarding paradigm shifts was broken down into four phases. Normal Science, Model Crisis, Model Revolution, and Paradigm Shift. This starts with subtle changes to the theory. When the crisis emerges, scientists devise new ways to reevaluate their problems. When those old ways of thinking are abandoned, it results in the Paradigm shift. -
