A Harvard summa cum laude graduate, Thomas Kuhn graduated from Harvard with a Bachelor of Science in physics. He then went on to get his Master's in 1946 and his Doctorate in 1949.

During this time period Thomas Kuhn became elected into the Society of Fellows at Harvard and went on to teach a class in science at the university.

Thomas Kuhn's time spent teaching science at Harvard led to his focus on the history of science, followed by the history of astronomy, which in turn led to the publication of this first book, The Copernican Revolution.

Thomas Kuhn became a history of science professor with the University of California at Berkeley. There he got introduced to Paul Feyerabend.

Published by University of Chicago Press. Thomas Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolution argued that the evolution of the scientific theory is not a linear process but instead a process driven by paradigms and shifts within it.
