    Thomas Kuhn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 18th, 1922. He was the first born of parents Samuel and Minette Kuhn.

  • Lowell Lectures

    In 1950 Thomas Kuhn was asked by Ralph Lowell to deliver the Lowell lecture. In 1951, in the lectures, he explained that scientific progression was not a process of linear growth.

  • The Copernican Revolution

    Kuhn describes plurality meaning scientists have a commitment to their religions and philosophies. This was a contradiction to what was relevant in the scientific community, people believed that research and personal veiws were seperate.

    The structure of Scientific Relations is a book Written by Thomas Kuhn in 1961, and then later published in 1962. In the book, Kuhn establishes that Science does not have a linear rate of progression. Instead, Kuhn dives into paradigm shift and revolutions.
