Kuhn attended Harvard at 18 years old and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Physics with highest honors. His school work was temporarily suspended while he was in the war but went back to Harvard to graduate with a master's degree in Physics and a doctorate to follow in 1949.

    The Copernican Revolution
Kuhn began delivering a History of Science course at Harvard, He was teaching Aristotle's ideas of motion but realized as a that he didn't have the same views and had a similar perspective as Newton. This led him to switch his concentration to the history of science and publishing "The Copernican Revolution."

    Publishes The Scientific Revolutions
Kuhn publishes "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions," where he states that social factors such as class, politics, gender, race and environment will influence a scientist's discoveries. The four phases of this shift are: pre-science, normal science, model crisis and paradigm shift.

    Incommensurability
Kuhn shares his opinion on Incommensurability the concept of having no common measure. He touches on this topic in his classic "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions." Things that cannot be compared using a standard like rival paradigms are incommensurable. This means that you cannot prove that one scientific revolution is better than another but normal science can be proven.
