Thomas Kuhn was born on July 18, 1922, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was an American Philosopher and is well known for his book, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. Kuhn held a master's degree in physics but began to lose interest in physics and later obtained his Ph.D. in the History of Science from Harvard University. -
The Copernican Revolution

Early Career

The Structure of Scientific Revolutions
In 1962 Kuhn's book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions was published. He recognized the difference between the physical sciences and the social sciences and this is where his famous paradigm shift began.
