    In 1943 Thomas Kuhn completed his masters in Physics at Harvard University. Soon after in 1949, he completed his doctorate in physics as well. Upon graduation graduating, After graduating, Kuhn taught history of science; centered around historical case studies (Bird, 1). This led to him publishing his first book in 1957, The Copernican Revolution.

    The Structure of Scientific Revolution
    Thomas Kuhn publishes The Structure of Scientific Revolution. Kuhn identified the phases that science goes through (pre-science, normal science, crisis, and scientific revolution). This cycle happens when a paradigm becomes problematic enough to be revised. Field experts come together and work on defining a new paradigm. Once agreed upon, the new paradigm completes the revolution/cycle and returns to normal science (Bird,33). Example video
