    A Paradigm Shift in Science
“It is a package of claims about the world, methods of gathering and analyzing data, and habits of scientific thought and action” (Smith 76). Kuhn’s theory defined how changes in science and scientific revolutions take place when one paradigm replaces another. Kuhn argued that we should not be overly critical about paradigms, otherwise science would not make advancements.
