Thomas Jefferson was born in 1743 on his family's plantation, Shadwell, in central Virginia. Tom came third in a family of ten children. His parents were Jane Randolph Jefferson and Peter Jefferson. -

Toms wife Martha died august 22 1763 and tom got more depresed. -

Tom and Martha are married
Tom would visit Martha at her father's plantation, The Forest, to court her. They both loved music and they sang and played instruments together. Tom and Martha were married in a forest next to a church. -
Eldest child was born.
Tom and martha had 4 kids but 1 of them died when they were three years old. And they had six more kids 3 years later.They all grew up and died of being old. -
The Declaration of Independance
Thomas Jefferson and John Adams each wanted the other to write the Decleration of Independance. Adams finally convinced Jefferson to write the Declaration. Independance was initially voted on July 2nd but after some changes were made it became official on July 4th 1776. But it wasn't until 1784 that people knew that Thomas Jefferson had written the document. -
