2000 J-Phone
November 1, 2000 Japan company Softbank introduce the first cell phone to have an integrated camera built in it. It was called the J-Phone model J-SH04.The phone was manufacturer by Sharp. The Camera had built in Max resolution of 0.11 megapixels pushing 256-color clear display. This phone was the first to share photos wireless which we never seen in the consumer side market. 2001 Xbox console
In 2001, November 15. Microsoft released their first ever console the Xbox. Microsoft CEO Bill Gates saw the upcoming ps2 and seen this as a threat with their line of Windows PC's that the ps2 would kill the consumer interest. So, Mr. Gates and the Microsoft Direct X team came together to develop what some people would call the best console. The Xbox would compete with the ps2 market and consumer line selling over 24 million Units worldwide. The best-selling game for the unit was Halo 2. -
2002 Roomba
On September 19, 2002 the first Boomba the floor vacuum AI would hit homes everywhere being the best self-vacuum device. The creators that invented this product was iRobot. This vacuum would automatically sweep through the household on all surfaces such as tile, wood, carpet and so on. The products first retail price was around 200 dollars and would come with accessories such as battery pack and virtual wall units to help improve the AI’s pathway. It was easy to install and easy to care for. -
2007 1TB HDD
In 2007, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies released the biggest hard drive on the market. The 1TB hard disk drive. The 1TB hard drive would have the capacity that could hold lifetime worth of data for the consumer and business side. The hard drive would have layers of 200GB platters that would rotate at a whopping 7,200 RPM. Being the first and fastest hard drive every consumer would praise for its large storage capacity to help their needs. -
2008 MackBook Air
In 2008 Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduce the worlds thinnest notebook called the MacBook Air. The production was shown off at the Macworld San Francisco convention competing in the market for the best thin laptop. Everyone was impressed on its size, thinness and still having the full-size keyboard and 13.3-inch widescreen display. The MacBook air would ship with an 80gb HDD, optional 64gb SSD, an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6 or 1.8Ghz CUP, 37 W h Li-Poly battery that can last for 4.5 hours.
