in 1878 their father braught home a rubberband toy flying helicopter which instead of falling flew across the room. they said that the toy was their inspiration for building the flying machiene -

in 1892 the brothers formed the wright cycle company. -

in 1896 the brothers were focused on the death of a man who was a famouse glider they wanted to try and fill his shoes. -

in 1900 the brothers wrote to an experienced engineer asking for advice. -

they expanded the wingspan and the cabin -
the first manned flight
in 1903 the brothers flew for 12 seconds. This changed the world forever. They did make improvments after and got it to fly long and farther.
