Ts`ai Lun
A Chinese dignitary of the Han dynasty. Ts`ai Lun was born in Leiyan. In 75, the eunuch came to the Imperial Palace. In 105, he submitted a report on the improvement of paper production technology, which crowned his career. The Emperor granted him the high title of Minister and wealth. Having lost in the Palace intrigue, he committed suicide by drinking poison. -
Ivan Pavlov
Ivan Petrovich Pavlov was born on September 26, 1849 in the family of a priest. In 1870, the future scientist decided to enter the natural Sciences Department of the faculty of physics and mathematics. He achieved significant results in the study of reflexes. For achievements in the study of the processes of digestion in 1904, he was awarded the Nobel prize. Ivan Pavlov died in Leningrad on February 27, 1936 due to pneumonia.
