Nazi Invasion of Poland
1939, September 1st, The Second World War has just begun with the Nazi invasion of Poland following that the declaration of war on Britain and France and thus began world war 2. When Germany attacked Poland it used a new tactic called Blitzkrieg and used a mass of planes and tanks and then used soldiers to capture towns and strategical points -
Ada tries walking and hears about Hitler for the first time
When Ada was still stuck in the flat she kept getting really at her mom, so, she tried to walk since she had clubfoot the bottom skin of her "foot" ripped off and blood was everywhere, she then learned the lesson of not trying to walk on her own. Also, one time when Jamie and mam were talking she overheard this "Germany and their stupid Hitler going on a rampage" and so she got a first hint about the second world war. -
Ada and Jamie move to countryside
When the French surrendered to the Germans on June 22nd, 1940, Ada and Jamie were moved to countryside Kent, which is south of London. -
Ada meets susan
When Ada meet Susan for the first time. Ada didnt like and thought she was gonna be like her mom. At the beginning they were having troubles with last names and then they settled in. -
Ada's Birthday
On April 5th, Susan, Ada, and Jamie celebrated Ada's estimated birthday. Susan gave Ada a nice dress and she had a breakdown because she thought she didn't deserve it. -
Invasion of Denmark and Norway
On April 9th, 1940, The Germans swiftly invaded and occupied Denmark within a day and also started the invasion of Norway by using it's ports and landing troops in that location. Some time after the Germans landed, more British and french troops landing to help but after that the Germans para dropped into Norway and pushed them up to the north. The current situation was a stalemate and when the Germans invaded France the remaining British troops left to defend France and then Norway surrendered. -
Bombings of England (The Blitz)
When bombings of England started Hitler and the Luftwaffe started to bomb military factories then RAF airfields. After that the RAF ordered a small bombing raid over Berlin which infuriated Hitler and he ordered all bombings to be over London. -
Ada goes to London
Ada was forced to come back to London because her mom had custody over them and then when the bombings started their mom abandoned them and they had to survive without a shelter. -
Blitzkreig
When Hitler invaded France, he used a new technique called Blitzkrieg which used tanks and planes first then masses of troops to reinforce cities. This strategy worked when invading France and Benelux. -
Naval Superiority in the English Channel
When France was defeated, Britain was now alone, but strong having its strong navy which protects the island 24/7 from invading forces and the other German navy which was a mere speck compared the British Navy.
