Germnay invades Czechoslovakia
Germany took over Czechoslovakia after marching in. He went against what he said in Munich, and from then on was not trusted by some. -
the Soviet-Nazi Pact
The Soviet-Nazi Non-Agression Pact was signed before the start oif the war. This pact stated that Germany and the Soviet Union would not attack eachother for 10 years. -
The Invasion of Poland
The German battleship fired on the Polish fort at about 4:45 in the morning. Hitler decided to invade Poland and was very confident that it would be a short easy war. -
Phony War (sitzkrieg)
From September 1939 to May 1940, was a time period at the beginning of the war where no fighting happened. This gave the British time to prepare their equiptment for the next attck. -
Canada enters the war
Canada enters the war and sends troops to help Britain. Canada contributed on land, on the air and in the sea. -

After being defeated, the British were trapped on the port of Dunkirk. After calling for help, every type of boat started arriving to help and many lives were saved. -

There were four phases to the Battle of Britain: bombers were sent, bombing raids on RAFT airfields, London was bombed and night bombing raids. -

The Germans, led by Hitler, made a suprise attack on Russia. Many solders and tanks were send to Russia. -
The Fall of France
After the Invasion of France, France gave up and signed an armstice with Germany. -
The attack on Pearl Harbor
Japanese launched an attack on pearl harbor in the United States because they wanted to take over the Pacific Islands. They launched this attack with two waves of planes and ships.
