  • The Begining of the Veitnam War

    Major Dale R. Buis and Master Sargeant Chester M. Ovnand become the first Americans to die in the Vietnam War during the guerilla strike at Bienhoa.

  • The American initiative

    This was the first combat-mission against the Vietcong. This was the first time, they participated in the conflict in an agressive manner. This events lasts 12 days and over 80 choppers and around a thousand soldiers participated.

  • The Assassination of President Kennedy

    The president was assassinated 22nd of November 1963 in Dallas by Lee Harvey Oswald.

  • The communist leaders overthrows the government

  • The conflict esclalades

    200.000 soldiers were sent to aid the troops in Vietnam as a response to the hostilities against USA.

  • Battle of Hue

    The longest and bloodiest battle in a long time, many aggressions and hostilities escalades and erupt at this point in time.

  • Peace talk

    American and the North Vietnamese had a "peace talk" where they discussed the war, and eased the very tense relationship between the two slightly.

  • Nixon sends out bombers to show the enemy that he will do whatever is nessesary to end the war.

  • President extends the war to Cambodia

  • The diplomatic turn for the better

    The relationship between USA and North Vietnam has started to ease up a bit, and they started negotioating diplomatically.

  • The cease-fire agreement between troops and the agreement is signed in Paris

  • All American troops leave Vetinam
