The US Constitution is supposed to be a sign for all people and for everyone to be equal and to be free from what we broke away from (the kings and the queens) but in a way, we have become the same if not worse. We have been filled with greed and power. The constitution is supposed to serve us people with the right for everyone to be equal and free with the right to be whoever and live whatever life you want to lead. Even though that us what it may not be for us today that is why it was written
  • Declaration of Rights of a Man & Declaration of Rights of a Woman

Declaration of Rights of a Man & Declaration of Rights of a Woman
I believe there’s a lot of the used in this because Since there was one of these made for men then there was one that was created for women and there lie the sexism of our nation. How we truly don't consider the women of our nation and we don’t think they should be held to the smae standards as a man. And in short, that appeals to our emotions.
  • Ain't I a Woman.

    Ain't I a Woman.
Sojourner Truth's speech "Ain't I a Woman" is a speech she presented at the Woman's Rights Convention, in Arkon, Ohio. This speech was about the rights of all women not just white women but all women to be treated equally and have the same rights. She argued that giving the rights to all women is common sense. I would think that everyone would agree but apparently, that's still not true to this day. No matter how hard we fight for it.
  • Rosa Parks

    Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks is often considered the first woman of the civil rights movement. However, on this timeline, you can see that's not exactly true. Parks is most known for her act on the bus for not getting up and moving when she was asked to move. This act shows how she is standing up for herself as a woman and standing up for herself as a BLACK woman. Becasue there were women back then who would not want black women to have rights only white women which contradicts everything they fought for.

  • Harvey Weinstein is my Monster Too

Harvey Weinstein is my Monster Too
Salma Hayek presented a speech about her career and the struggles that she'd been through while trying to make a living as a female actress in the world. She went through things many women have gone through but should have never gone through. She spoke out about the sexual abuse from Harvey Weinstein and how she has grown from it. • Me Too is a Movement not a Moment

Me Too is a Movement not a Moment
This TED talk was about how people have shaped and warped the #MeToo movement. We need to be better, to be looking out for our people, and how this isn't normal but it has become normal for women and men and everyone else to be a victim of certain events. It's crazy how it's become normal. The author of this TED talk was also trying for a very long time to figure out how to say this to make the entire world not just this audience jump up for action because at this point this is ridiculous.

(Almost) 100 Years of the Equal Rights Amendment | STUFF YOU MISSED IN HISTORY CLASS
This podcast brings up a lot of valid topics that we as women should be inquiring about more. It shows that since the beginning of when we started to make these rules and amendments nothing was fair or equal to how we wanted it to be. • The Fight for Women’s Rights is a Fight Against Authoritarianism

The Fight for Women’s Rights is a Fight Against Authoritarianism
This article is a summary of the women's rights movement in 2022. This article speaks about the struggle for women's rights, and abortion laws being mandated and regulated by men without the consideration of what a woman goes through. We should always have a choice in what we do with our bodies. The thought of this even being a topic to debate about is wild to me. This article went over the Taliban denying women and girls the right to have an education of any kind.
  • Barbie

    Barbie
The Barbie monologue was a very powerful part of the new Barbie movie It was made very prominent on purpose because they wanted to make aware the struggles of everyday women. What we are told to wear and told to put up with, told to eat, told when to smile, told how to speak, and deal with certain issues and be able to figure out everything and don't complain because if you do complain then you are considered unfit for a role or position of power. Every audience viewing this got to witness it.
