After several weeks of turmoil, tunisian ruler Zine el Abidine Ben Ali fled Tunisia for Jeddah,Saudi Arabia. Prime Minister Mohammed Ghannouchi announced that he would assume the position of interim president under chapter 56 of their constitution. -
