The Black Hawk War Began
Black Hawk, born in Illinios in 1767, saw danger against his people as more and more whilte people began coming to the United States in the early 1800's. Black Hawk got angry and went to war in 1832 against the settlers that kept arriving at his home. -
Charlottle Doyle gets on the Seahawk
When Charlotte Doyle gets on the Seahawk she is accomponied by Mr. Grammage. People all around her seem to be suspicious or afraid of the Seahawk. -
The Seahawk Begins it's Journey
When the Seahawk leaves the docks of LIverpool, Engalnd Charlotte is disapporinted to discover that the families she would be traveling with didn't show up and she would be traveling across the ocean alone. (Besides the Captain and the Crew) -
Charlotte gets sea-sick
Her first few days on board don't go so well. She gets very sea-sick but the crew members take care of her. -
Charlotte has tea with the captain
Charlotte learns to like the Captain Jaggery very much when he invites her to have tea with him. -
Charlotte sees the head when she is getting her clothes
When Charlotte is getting her clothes Charlotte spots a head that came up from the hold. -
First railroad accident in the USA
In Quincy on Granite Railway there was an accident and one person died. -
Captain Jaggery kills Cranick and whips Zachariah
When the crew trys to rebel agaisnt the Captain, they are punished. -
Charlotte climbs the main mast
When Carlotte wants to be part of the crew, she has to prove herself by climbing the main mast! -
The Hurricane hits
When the hurricane hits, the crew (including Charlotte) must struggle in order to keep the ship above water. -
Charlotte kills Captain Jaggery
A fight between the Charlotte and the Captain leads to an unlucky end to Captain Jaggery's life. When he falls into the ocean and drowns everyone on the ship is very happy. -
Charlotte has her trial
When accused of murder, Charlotte has a trial where she loses and is going to be hung. -
The Seahawk arrives in Providence, Rhode Island
The Seahawk arives at the India docks in Providence where Charlotte meets back up with her family. -
