John recieves the letter. The letter contains the information of the treasure. John must go and successfully retrieve the treasure before the templars do. I chose this because this letter starts the events of the book. -

John leaves for France. This is important because France is where the story takes place. -
The First Day
John searches for information on the treasure in the city of Paris. This is important because this is really where the book starts. -
A Note Appears
A note appears in the hotel lobby reserved for John. The note details a time and place to meet up with a "Contact" for some useful informatiion and untill then he must lay low. This is important because John had no leads from the first day of searching. -
The Big Day-Part 1
John now goes to meet up with the contact in a cafe. In the process of doing so however he gets ambushed by a templar henchmen named Bruce. This was chosen because this is just apart of "The Big Day". -
The Big Day-Part 2 (Lauryn)
John got taken away by the templars in a van. As he is in the van he feels like he is going lopsided. The van is getting tipped over because the contact pops the tires by putting tacks out on the road. The Contact reveals herself to be Lauryn. This is important because Lauryn is a main character. -
Templars Learn of Location
The Templar henchmen Bruce finds out the location through many resources and informants. This is defintely important because now the templars know of the treasure location. -
John and Lauryn learn the Treasure Location
John and Lauryn learned of the location. The location is Avignon. They gear up for the journey. I chose this because their journey is almost over, now they know the location. -
The Templars Arrive
The Templars arive in Avignon and sieze the treasure beneath a run down church. I chose this because now the templars have the treasure in their hands. -
John and Lauryn Arrives
John and Lauryn arrived, however they were to late to take it. They think of a plan to get to the treasure. I chose this because this is the climax. -
John and Lauryn Escape
John and Lauryn escape with the treasure in a truck. They got away by distracting the templars with a gasoline tank. They put a match in it so it would blow up. This was chosen because this was a distraction that was needed to escape. -
Return the Treasure
The Treasure is now returned to the govenrment of France. I chose this because its the end of the novel.
