The telegraph was invented in 1793, and signals were first sent along wires. The telegraph inspired many inventors to try and send not just signal but the human voices. -
Bell´s telephone
Bell´s first telephone had one combined mouthpiece and earpiece. When you rpoke into the horn, the voice was converted into electric signal wich were carried along telephones wires. Graham Bells invented this telephone in 1876, Scotland -
Thomas Edinson´s telephone
In 1879, Edison made a telephone with a separate mouthpieces and earpieces. In the 1880s, all the telephones calls had to go trought an operator. You took the numbers you wanted and plugged in your line to complete th eelctrical circuit and connect. It was impossible to make a private call. -
The mobile phone
The mobile phone was invented in 1979 at the Bells laboratories in the USA. This mobiles, can carry voice messages, text messages, photos, videos, games and conect with the internet. At the present there are 1 billion telephone users.
