I was born in Odessa, Tx.
I was bor in Odessa, Tx on march 8, 1985. I was the second child of my parents. -
First day of school.
When I was 3, my mother took me to preschool, where I spend 3 years of my life. -
Elemntary School
My sisters and I always went to the nearest school of my mom job. My mother was a teacher and she moved to different schools. In that time, So I had to attend many different schools. -
Middle School
When I was 12, I started middle school In Juarez. My house was close to the school and for the first time I walked to school by myself. I spend the next 3 years od my life in that school. -
High School
In the second year os high school I had to choose a sport. I like volleyball because the team was good and the coach excellent. In the last year of high school, I started driving and every morning I went to school by car. That was very exciting staff. -
I graduated from high school
I was 18 when I graduated from high school in Juarez. -
UACJ
I want to study a nutrition degree in UACJ where I studied for 1 year then I changed my mind. I started a education degree, I could not finish. Finally, I had to move to El Paso. -
I moved to El Paso, TX
I got married and I decided to move to El Paso with my husband. I stop with my education for a while and I focused on my family. -
El Paso Community College
When I go to EPCC, I was little worried because It was the first time that I attend a school in USA. The language just terrified but this day was really important for me because I started a new language.Unfortunaly, I did not complete the ESL Program there because I got pregnant for second time and I had to leave school and dedicate my time to my family and to my pregnancy. -
ESL program
This period of my life was really nice. I kept learning English and also I started practicing it. Some of my classmate were from other countries and the only way to communicate was in English. -
In my way to UTEP!!
The first time I went to UTEP I remembered to be really nervous but also really excited. As a ESOL student I took many different grammar courses that really helped me to improve my English.In these courses I use many grammar books that I still use to correct or write my assignments.FInally I spend a year in a half there. -
College of Education
I still taking classes at UTEP.Then in the next 2 years I finally finished with my basics. When I started attending utep and finally take classes from the education program I felt like my dream came true. I very hope end with education in two more years. It will be great.the road has not been easy but at the end it will be gratifying.
