    Mrs. Mallard stares out the window of her bedroom and sees the world in a beautiful view.
  • Mrs. Mallard locks herself in her room.

    Mrs. Mallard isolates herself in her room all alone.
  • Mrs. Mallard begins to imagine the future.

    Mrs. Mallard's heart begins to race as she imagines her future without her husband. She feels as if she is free and is hopeful for her life ahead.
  • Mrs. Mallard exits her room.

    Mrs. Mallard leaves her room at her sisters request and they walk down the stairs together.
  • Mr. Mallard enters the front door.

    Mr. Mallard comes in the front door and his wife sees him.
