Mrs.Marco was found killed in the ocean. The police don't know who the suspect is. But, that day Jennifer visted LaSalon and Mrs.Abollo gave her a letter that someone scribbled. This is the Rising Action. -
Jennifer goes to find Bobbie
Jennifer goes to search Bobbie and where she ran off to. She ended up at a house to visit her friend and Bobbie didn't even know that her mother was killed. This is the Rising Action. -
Darrel gets beaten up
Darrel was getting into his house and Jennifer was there. Darrel gets beaten up by someone and doesn't know who did it. He gets taken to the hospital. This is the Rising Action . -
Jennifer goes to LaSalon
She goes to LaSalon and meets Mrs.Abollo who is the owner of LaSalon. Stella Trax was working there. Mrs.Abollo fires Stella Trax before she died. This is the Rising Action. -
Jennifer searchs Stella Trax's house
Jennifer searches Stella Trax's house becuase she wants to find evidence. She searchs through Stella Trax's purse and finds different credit cards that are not Stella Trax's. She also finds a letter that has scribbly handwriting. This is the Falling Action. -
Bobbie was sented to jail
Bobbie went to jail because they thought that she and killed her mother. This is the Rising Action. -
Character traits for Jennifer
Jennifer never gives up. You can always trust her. She is determined. For example she wants to help her friend Bobbie. -
Direct characterization
" Any sympathy she might have felt for him was washed away by a rush of anger" (Hinton 82). This shows taht you already know that she is angry. -
Indirect characterization
"Mrs.Aciddo sat near the front of the room. Her head tucked into her shoulders reminded Jennifer of a turtle peering out from the safety of its shell. (Hinton 96). This shows that Mrs.Aciddo is not comfortable, she doesnt feel safe. She is trying to hide herself. -

The crime was solved of who killed Stella Trax. This is the Resolution. -
Climax
Jennifer is almost captured when she figures out the crime. She walked into Stella Trax's house (Bobbie's mother). Mr. Biddle and Darryl went in to search for evidence and would have found her if she hadn't been hidden. Mr. Biddle was using Darryl to help him find the evidence because Darryl was Mrs. Trax's step son. -
Freedom
Bobbie most likely gets freed from jail after they capture the criminal.
