  • WEAK VERBS

    WEAK VERBS
    We must use auxiliaries in regular verbs.
    Add -s or -es in the third person in positive sentences.
    Use don´t / doesn´t in negative form.
    Use Do / Does in question form.
  • STRONG VERBS

    STRONG VERBS
    The irregular verbs don't need auxiliaries they are considered strong verbs: am - is - are.
    I will explain in the next class.

  • Yes/No Questions and Answers

    Yes/No Questions and Answers
    Use Do / Does to do questions and long and short answers.
    Structure: Do/Does + Subj + V. base + Complement +?
    Example: Does Luis drive a truck?
    Positive Answers: Yes, Luis drives a truck. / Yes, Luis does.
    Negative Answers: No, Luis doesn´t dive a truck. / No, Luis doesn't.
