My Great Grandparents Working Together
1923 was the year that my Great Grandparents started working together. They fell in love and had kids, and those kids had kids, and those kids had kids, and here I am. This is a very significant event because if my great grandparents didn't work together, then 3 generations of my family wouldn't be here today. This picture is a primary source of evidence because it is a visual picture of where my great Grandparents started working together. -
My Grandpa fighting in the war
My Grandpa fought in world war 2 in 1942. He was apart of the Canadian Navy on the HMCS Iroqouois as an Able Seaman. This is a significant time because when people go to war they are serving their country and it is extremely dangerous. My evidence for my Grandpa going to war is this picture of my Grandpa with his crew. He is the 2nd person from the bottom left. This is a primary source because it is a visual confirmation that he is in the Navy. -
My Cottage Being Bought
In 1949 my cottage was bought by my Grandpa. It has been in the family for generations and it is a peaceful and fun place to be. This is a significant time for me and my family because this is a famous place to be in my family that everyone loves. My evidence for my cottage being bought in 1949 is this picture of it and this is a primary source because it is visual proof and first hand knowledge. -
I Was Born
On September 6th, 2003 I was born at McMaster Hospital at about 1am. This is a significant event because a new life was put in my family which is a big deal. My evidence for me being born is a photo of me not too long after I was born. This is primary evidence because it is not actual documentation that I was born but it is evidence showing visually that I was born. -
Moving To My House
I moved to my house on July 1rst 2007. It is a good neighborhood with lots of other kids on the street which made it fun to live there. This is a significant time because that is the house that I grew up in for most of my life and it means a lot to me. Evidence of moving into my house is this picture of my house which is primary evidence. This picture was taken from when we first bought the house and it is first hand evidence. -
Getting My Dog
I got my dog on May 22nd, 2010. He is a boxer that is about 100 pounds. His name is Mowgli and he is a rescue dog. Getting my dog is more significant on the family that lives in my home than it is on the rest of my family because to me it is adding a member to our family. It is significant because he was a great addition to our family. Evidence that I got my dog is this picture of my dog at my cottage because it is a first hand photo that I took showing that he is in our possession.
