    Lots of Vikings came in 120 Vikings ships and more than 5.000 men to Siene in 845. They were commanded by the king Ragnar Lodbrok.

    The vikings arrived to the city. The Frankish army tried to defend their people but they couldn't do anything against the brutal vikings.
    Also, the Vikings kidnapped people as presioners and hanged them in one of the Siene lands in honour of Odin.

    The vikings arrived to Paris in this year asking for tribute, but the Franks denied this proposal. One day later, the Vikings started to attack their northeast tower, but they were repulsed. That same night the Paris people built another tower.

    The Vikings continued attacking Paris using fire, mining and a few tools to break their gates. The vikings also builded Siege engines, which are huge weapons to break fortifications. They also tried to set fire to their important bridges and as well as they attempted to the city with land attacks.

    The Vikings tried to fill their rivers with debris, plants, dead people and dead animal bodies to try to get arround the main tower. The Vikings left a force around Paris, and also they asked for sixty pounds of silver.

    The Vikings tried to take control of the hole city but they were repulsed, Charles who was the actual Chief, didn't wanted to fight, so he allowed the vikings to ravage Bugundry, which was in revolt with them. Finally, Charles gave 700 silver livres to the Vikings as promised.
